A fine early Austrian Statue.
It
depicts a typical Orientalist scene of a Nubian water
carrier with long dark hair.
The Moorish
woman wears her local attire, some red jewelry, showing a bear breast and
carries valuable water in a ceramic jug on her shoulder.
The statue
is relatively heavy even though the metal is not bronze.

Below the text we have some examples of other Orientalist statues.
